02.11.202613:00:00UTC+00Singapore Manufacturing PMI Eases to 51.4 in October, Still Signalling Expansion

Singapore’s manufacturing sector maintained its expansionary footing in October 2026, though momentum softened slightly, according to the latest S&P Global Manufacturing PMI data.

The headline index edged down to 51.4 in October from 51.7 in September 2026, remaining above the 50-point threshold that separates expansion from contraction. The figures, updated on 2 November 2026, suggest that while growth in factory activity continues, the pace has moderated compared with the previous month.

The marginal decline in the PMI points to a more measured expansion in Singapore’s manufacturing sector as the fourth quarter begins, signaling that conditions remain broadly supportive but less vigorous than in September.
